1. Acceptance and Changes

By using Sigentra, you constitute a legally binding agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. User Responsibilities & Account Creation

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract.
• Accuracy: You must provide accurate and complete information during account registration.
• Prohibited Behavior: You agree not to:
  • Use Sigentra to scan or audit websites for which you do not have explicit legal authorization.
  • Use the Service to perform unauthorized security testing or "DDoS" simulations.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our scanning engine.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful "scraping" or data harvesting activities.

3. The Sigentra Security Guarantee: "Code over Pixels"

We prioritize your security by minimizing the data we ingest and store.

• Non-Visual Auditing: Sigentra utilizes a "Code-First" scanning architecture via Browserless. We audit your site’s underlying code and DOM structure to identify compliance gaps.
• No Screenshots: Sigentra reads your code, not your pixels. We do not take or store visual captures (screenshots) of your website. This reduces your data liability by ensuring that no sensitive user-facing information appearing on your site is ever captured or stored in our environment.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, the "Sigentra Seal" branding, and the proprietary scanning algorithms are the exclusive intellectual property of Sigentra Ltd.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to display the Sigentra Seal on authorized domains as long as your subscription remains active and your site meets our integrity standards.

5. Payment and Subscriptions

• Billing: All premium services are provided on a recurring subscription basis. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
• Billing Cycles: Subscriptions are billed at the beginning of each cycle (monthly or annually).
• Refund Policy: Due to the instant delivery of our digital audit data, all sales are final. Refunds are only issued at our sole discretion in cases of technical service failure.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

• Technical Audit Only: Sigentra is a technical auditing tool, not a law firm. Our reports and "Integrity Scores" are for informational purposes and do not constitute legal advice.
• Disclaimers: The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that our Service will identify every possible compliance error or that your site will be immune to legal action.
• Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sigentra Ltd’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Sigentra in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect damages or regulatory fines incurred by your business.

7. Termination Clause

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and revoke your Sigentra Seal license immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay subscription fees. Upon termination, you must remove the Sigentra Seal from your website.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, UK.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data and our "Zero-Cookie" commitment.
